Puzzles:
Rules:
1. Contest timing: The contest will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday the 17th of April and end on the 27th. Puzzles will be posted on the website every day at 12:00 noon.
2. Points: 3 points will be awarded for puzzles completed within 24 hours of posting. 2 points will be awarded for puzzles completed between 24 and 48 hours of posting. Puzzles completed after 48 hours will only be worth 1 point.
3. Hints: Each puzzle will have two hints. The first will be posted 24 hours after the puzzle is posted. The second will be posted 48 hours after.
4. Submission: All puzzle answers must be send to acmpuzzlecontest [at] gmail [dot] com. The header of the email must be in the following format: [Puzzle #]. So the email for puzzle 1 will have the header: [Puzzle 1]. All questions about the rules must have the header: [Question]. We will not answer questions about specific puzzles.
5. Winning: The winner will be the person with the most points at the end of the contest. Ties will be resolved by timestamp of the last question submission.
6. Prizes: The winner will choose his preferred prize. The rest of the players will choose their puzzles by rank until no more prizes remain. The prizes will be software and giftcards to local restaurants.
